Born 26 March 1864 in Salt Lake City. Son of Joseph McMurrin and Margaret Leaing. Married Mary Jacobson, 16 March 1887; seven children. Practiced plural marriage. Called to presidency of British Mission, 9 October 1898. Returned from mission, 26 June 1901. Died 7 August 1902 in Salt Lake City.[1]
