Sophia Whitaker Taylor

April 21, 1825–February 27, 1887

1 Born at Blakedown, Worcestershire, England; daughter of Sophia Turner and Thomas Whitaker. 2 Baptized in England, 1840. 3 Immigrated to the United States, circa 1847. 4 Married John Taylor as a plural wife, 1847; seven children. 5 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1847. 6 Settled in the Salt Lake City Fourteenth Ward. 7 Participated in the Fourteenth Ward Relief Society, as early as 1856. 8 Served on the finance committee for Deseret Hospital. 9 Died at Salt Lake City. 10 (See Document 2.3, 4.11)
