1 Born at Brighton, Monroe County, New York; son of Lucinda Kingsley and Samuel Jones. 2 Baptized in Wisconsin Territory, 1842. 3 Married Rebecca M. Burton, 1845; participated in plural marriage. 4 Served in the Mormon Battalion, 1846–1847. 5 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1849. 6 Lived at Salt Lake City. 7 Served as bishop of the Salt Lake City Fifteenth Ward. 8 Died at Salt Lake City. 9 (See Document 4.28)
