Margaret (Maggie) Young Taylor

April 24, 1837–May 3, 1919

1 Born at Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut; daughter of Margaret Holden and Ebenezer Russell Young. 2 Baptized in New Jersey, 1852. 3 Married John Taylor as a plural wife, 1856; nine children. 4 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1858. 5 Lived in the Salt Lake City Fourteenth Ward; served as secretary and counselor in the Fourteenth Ward Relief Society presidency. 6 Served as secretary of the Salt Lake Stake Relief Society. 7 Served as counselor to Anstis Elmina S. Taylor in the Young Ladies’ Mutual Improvement Association general presidency, 1880–1887. 8 Died at Salt Lake City. 9 (See Document 4.4)
