1 Born at Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England; daughter of Sarah Jones and George Dunford. 2 Baptized, 1867. 3 Immigrated to the United States aboard the Argo, 1850. 4 Married George Alfred Alder, 1863; ten children. 5 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1867. 6 Served as secretary to Marinda N. Hyde and Bathsheba W. Smith in the Salt Lake City Seventeenth Ward Relief Society. 7 Served a mission in England, 1889–1901. 8 Attended the International Congress of Women at London, 1899; at Berlin, 1904; and at Rome, 1914. 9 Died at Salt Lake City. 10 (See Document 3.13, 3.16)
