1 Born at Lindved, Sindbjerg, Vejle, Denmark; son of Ane Dorthea Jonasdotter and Johannes Christensen. 2 Married Caroline Marie Tuft, 1845; participated in plural marriage. 3 Baptized in Denmark, circa 1851–1852. 4 Immigrated to the United States and migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1854. 5 Settled at Provo, Utah County, Utah Territory, circa 1856. 6 Served as bishop of the Provo First Ward, circa 1864–1902. 7 Died at Provo. 8 (See Document 4.4)
