Jane Wilkie Hooper Blood

1 Born at Southampton, Hampshire, England; daughter of Ann Wilkie Galbraith and John Hooper. 2 Baptized, May 1853, in Cornwall, England. 3 Emigrated from Liverpool to New Orleans aboard the ship Golconda; arrived in the Salt Lake Valley, October 1854. 4 Settled at Kaysville, Davis County, Utah Territory, 1855. 5 Married William Blood, September 9, 1861; ten children. 6 Served as teacher, secretary, treasurer, and counselor in the Kaysville Relief Society; as president of the Kaysville Primary; and as teacher in the Sunday school. Was an active participant in sericulture. 7 Died at Kaysville. 8 (See Document 4.3)
