1 Born at Hampden, Penobscot County, Maine; daughter of Sophronia and Calvin Snow. 2 Married Caleb Wheeler Spofford. 3 Lived at Washington DC, where she and her husband were the proprietors of Riggs House hotel. 4 Represented the District of Columbia Suffrage Association at national meetings. 5 Appointed treasurer of the National Woman Suffrage Association, 1879. 6 Died at Hampden. 7 (See Document 4.27)
