James Chauncy Snow

1 Born at Chesterfield, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; son of Sarah Sawyer Hastings and Gardner Snow. 2 Baptized, 1833. 3 Married Eliza Ann Carter, 1838; participated in plural marriage. 4 Lived at Kirtland, Geauga County, Ohio; at Far West, Caldwell County, Missouri; and at Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois. 5 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1852. 6 Settled at Provo, Utah County, Utah Territory; served as president of the Provo Stake, 1853–1858. 7 Died at Sterling, Sanpete County, Utah Territory; buried at Manti, Sanpete County. 8 (See Document 2.4)
