Elizabeth Jackson Reid

January 17, 1851–March 18, 1934

1 Born at Manchester, Lancashire, England; daughter of Alice Crompton and Thomas Jackson. 2 Immigrated to the United States and migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1855–1856. 3 Lived at Provo, Utah County, Utah Territory, and Payson, Utah County. 4 Married John Kirkwood Reid, 1869; fifteen children. 5 Settled at Castle Dale (later Orangeville), Emery County, Utah Territory, 1879. 6 Served as treasurer and counselor in the Orangeville Ward Relief Society; served as counselor to Ane U. Larsen in the Emery Stake Relief Society presidency. 7 Died at Orangeville. 8 (See Document 4.25)
