Elizabeth Haven Barlow

December 28, 1811–December 25, 1892

1 Born at Holliston, Middlesex County, Massachusetts; daughter of Elizabeth Howe and John Haven. 2 Graduated from Bradford Academy and Amherst College; earned teacher’s diploma. 3 Baptized, 1837, at Holliston. 4 Married Israel Barlow at Quincy, Adams County, Illinois; eight children. 5 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley with the Brigham Young pioneer company, arriving mid-September 1848. 6 Appointed president of the Bountiful Ward Relief Society, April 1857, at Bountiful, Davis County, Utah Territory; later served as president of the Bountiful East Ward Relief Society. 7 Died at Bountiful. 8 (See Document 1.2, first mentioned here)
