1 Born at Independence, Jackson County, Missouri; son of Lydia Clisbee and Edward Partridge. 2 Baptized near Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois, 1841. 3 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1848. 4 Served a mission to the Sandwich Islands, 1854–1857. 5 Married Sarah Lucretia Clayton, 1858; participated in plural marriage. 6 Served as president of the Sandwich Islands mission, 1882–1885. 7 Settled at Provo, Utah County, Utah Territory; served as president of the Utah Stake, 1895–1900. 8 Died at Provo. 9 (See Document 4.13)
