1 Born at Princeton, Worcester County, Massachusetts; son of Miranda Jones and James Davis. 2 Married Catherine Spring, 1833; participated in plural marriage. 3 Baptized at Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois, 1843. 4 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1850. 5 Settled at Spanish Fork, Utah County, Utah Territory, by 1860. 6 Served as a postmaster at Spanish Fork for twenty-five years. 7 Died at Spanish Fork. 8 (See Document 2.5)
