Abraham Hoagland

1 Born at Hillsborough, Somerset County, New Jersey; son of Mary Bunn and Lucas Hoagland. 2 Married Margaret Quick, 1825; participated in plural marriage. 3 Baptized in Michigan, 1841. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois, 1843. 4 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1847. 5 Settled at Salt Lake City. 6 Served as bishop of the Salt Lake City Fourteenth Ward, 1851–1872. 7 Died at Salt Lake City. 8 (See Document 2.3, 4.28)
