Pres Snow Then made a few remarks, said A few of us sisters have been permitted to meet together this afternoon, no doubt we feel the extreme heat of the weather. It seems very necessary that we should attend our meetings punctual in order to Keep our spirits fresh in the things of God. There are powers at work today, that make it necessary in order to stand in the Kingdom of God, we should be very humble, and draw near [p. 67] to God and seek to so walk and live by the spirit of God as to be directed by that, constantly, I feel that the sisters who associate together are united, I realize how refreshing it is to meet with my sisters that we may look at each others faces. I feel that the Angels of God always meet with us, I should like to hear from my sisters who are present, we are but few, but we can drink deeply from that fountain which flows freely from our Father in Heaven.
