Read Carry On, At the Pulpit Free & on the Go
This month, the Church Historian’s Press shares the entirety of Carry On: The Latter-day Saint Young Women Organization, 1870–2024 on its website and in the Gospel Library.
Both free platforms will host the book’s text, images, and appendixes, as well as the audio version of the book, narrated by author Amber Taylor. Now all scholars and Latter-day Saints can access the book’s award-winning research using desktop computers, mobile devices, and even their earbuds. Try listening during weekly commutes, daily chores, or camp hikes through the Italian countryside—as pictured in Carry On.
The press’s accessibility efforts continue with a new audio version of At the Pulpit: 185 Years of Discourses by Latter-day Saint Women, narrated with audio from the original speakers where possible. Users can find the free At the Pulpit audiobook alongside its digital text on churchhistorianspress.org and in the Gospel Library.
The Church Historian’s Press is committed to transparency, accessibility, and nurturing a scholarly community. The press regularly posts free digital versions of its print books in the years after publication, allowing time for distribution partners to offset costs. For interested readers, print editions of Carry On and At the Pulpit remain available for purchase at Deseret Book and Amazon.
