    Prison

    George Q. Cannon served a few weeks in prison in fall 1879 for contempt of court in a case in which he and the other executors of the estate of Brigham Young were charged with misconduct. Cannon and the other executors were later exonerated of the charges. (Church History Library, Salt Lake City.)
