William Dresser Huntington

1818– 1887

Son-in-law of Hiram Clark; born in Watertown, New York; baptized in 1836; helped bury bodies of Joseph and Hyrum Smith following June 1844 martyrdom; immigrated to Utah in 1849; called to California along with Hiram Clark in 1850 to assist Elders Amasa Lyman and Charles C. Rich; lived near Sacramento in autumn 1850; returned to Utah in 1851; became an original settler of Springville, Utah, where he died.
