Richard Knowles

Born in Gloucestershire, England; married Sarah Rostern in Manchester, England, in 1816; baptized with wife in England; immigrated to U.S. prior to 1846, when they sailed to California on ship Brooklyn; died in San Francisco, having concluded he was too old and ill to travel to Utah.
