Phillip Wert

Former French consul in Hawai‘i; baptized in Honolulu in May 1853 following priesthood blessing through which he was healed of palsy; consulted with the Hawaiian missionaries regarding purchase of a press in September 1853; ordained elder prior to returning to France.
