Peter Olsen Hansen

1818– 1895

Seaman, shipbuilder; born at Copenhagen, Denmark. Joined the Church in Boston in 1844. Translated the Book of Mormon into Danish. Served three missions to Denmark. Assisted Erastus Snow in founding the Scandinavian Mission. On 7 October 1849, GQC attended the blessing meeting in the Bowery where Peter Hansen was blessed by Parley P.
