Peter John Pool

1823 — 1887

Son of Mary Pool; Born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada; baptized prior to sailing to California on the ship Brooklyn with his mother and sister Elizabeth in 1846; at San Francisco in October 1850; immigrated to Utah in 1855; participated in defense of the territory during the 1857–1858 Utah War; helped settle Franklin, Idaho, in 1860; moved to Dayton, Idaho, in 1874, where he died.
