Haole neighbor of Jonathan Napela in Wailuku, Maui, in April 1851; later that year moved to Waiehu, Maui, where GQC baptized him on December 30; married to a native woman; Latter-day Saint missionaries frequently met at his house, including during the October 1852 mission conference; his daughter Isabella married James Robinson.
