Born in Windsor, Maine; moved to Prince Edward Island, Canada; married John Pool, a widower with several children; gave birth to six children; baptized prior to sailing to California in 1846 on ship Brooklyn with two of her children, Elizabeth and Peter; at San Francisco in October 1850; immigrated to Utah in 1855; helped settle Franklin, Idaho, in 1860; lived there remainder of her life.
