Brother of Sarah Granger Kimball; born in Phelps, New York; immigrated to Utah in 1847; traveled to California in 1849 with Howard Egan’s company; in gold fields in 1850 when GQC left for Hawai‘i; elected probate judge of Green River County, Utah, and granted a ferry franchise, 1863; died in Scofield, Utah.
