Baptized prior to December 1852; ordained priest at Wailuku, May 1853; ordained elder and called on mission to Big Island, August 1853; remained on Maui through October 1853 because of difficulties on Big Island; led company of Latter-day Saints who moved from Maui to Lana‘i in September 1854; lived on Lana‘i in 1861; called by Walter Murray Gibson on a mission to Samoa in 1862, where he died.
