Joseph Nichols

1815– 1889

Immigrated to California in 1846 on ship Brooklyn with his wife, Jerusha, and twin sons, one of whom died eleven days into the voyage; lived in San Francisco in November 1850; settled in Alameda County, where he owned and operated an orchard; buried in Fremont, California.
