Haole residing near Laupahoehoe, Hawai‘i; baptized and ordained elder, February 1854; attended July 1854 mission conference held in Honolulu, during which he volunteered the use of his equipment toward the establishment of the Lana‘i colony; returned to Big Island in August 1854 on board his vessel, the Paalua, with the elders assigned to that island.
