John Davis

Haole resident of Makawao, Maui; baptized prior to his February 1852 ordination as a teacher; his kanaka wife was baptized in March 1852 and his child was blessed by the elders in April 1852; rebaptized in June 1853 after being out of the Church for a time; ordained a priest in July 1853; left on mission to Kaua‘i in October 1853 but backed out upon reaching Honolulu.
