Native of Kaua‘i; baptized and ordained an elder on O‘ahu in May 1853; returned to Kaua‘i as missionary; labored by himself until July 1853; joined by Philip Lewis and J. W. H. Kauwahi; converted ninety-one individuals by August 1853; served as presiding elder of Waimea Branch on Kaua‘i until March 1854.
