Henry Enon Phelps

1828 — 1901

Born in Canandaigua, New York; parents were baptized within a year of the organization of the Church; immigrated with family to Utah, 1848; traveled to California in the same company with GQC, 1849; member of Thirtieth Quorum of Seventy (GQC’s quorum); served mission to England, 1855–57; worked in the Church Historian’s Office and as a merchant in Salt Lake City; died in Salt Lake City.
