1 Born at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England; daughter of Eliza and William Lombe Brooke. 2 Married William Ferguson, circa 1857; four children. 3 Immigrated to the United States, circa 1860; lived in Ohio and Illinois. 4 Practiced medicine; published the Democrat newspaper with her husband in Eaton, Preble County, Ohio. 5 Moved to Utah Territory, June 1876. 6 Baptized at St. George, Washington County, Utah Territory, July 1, 1876. 7 Lived at St. George and Provo, Utah County, Utah Territory. 8 Moved to Salt Lake City, 1877. 9 Widowed, 1880. 10 Appointed the first resident physician and surgeon for Deseret Hospital, 1882. 11 Participated actively in woman suffrage associations and the Democratic Party both nationally and in Utah. 12 Moved to New York City, circa 1900. 13 Died at Whitestone, Queens, New York. 14 (See Document 4.3, 4.4, 4.11)
