Born 11 Dec. 1869 at Salt Lake City.[1] Daughter of William Dunford and Melvina Whitney.[2] Granddaughter of EBW.[3] Helped EBW with office work and mailings, 1887–1888.[4] Moved to Murray, Shoshone Co., Idaho Territory, Aug. 1888.[5] Married first Barrymore Nugent Hillard, 30 Apr. 1889, at Murray; three children.[6] Moved to Spokane Co., Washington, by Oct. 1893.[7] Husband died, 19 Oct. 1904; married second Charles Wheaton Betts, 6 June 1907, in Spokane, Spokane Co.[8] Moved to Los Angeles Co., California, by 1920.[9] Patient at the Patton State Psychiatric Hospital in San Bernardino Co., California, by 1930.[10] Living in Los Angeles, by 1940.[11] Died 8 Nov. 1942 at Glendale, Los Angeles Co.[12]
