Florence A. Schettler

13 October 1868—25 November 1949

Born 13 Oct. 1868 in Salt Lake City.1 Daughter of George Alder and Lydia Dunford.2 Baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by W. F. Cowley, 5 July 1877.3  Appeared in the Salt Lake Opera’s production of Patience, Dec. 1884.4 Attended Deseret Academy, 1885.5 Married Cornelius Daniel Schettler, 7 Oct. 1896, in Salt Lake City; four children.6 Participated with EBW in the women’s suffrage movement.7 Attended a surprise birthday party for EBW put on by the Reapers Club and the Woman’s Press Club, 28 Feb. 1894.8 Participated in the Utah Women’s Press Club, 1898.9 Attended the International Woman’s Suffrage Conference as an alternate to her mother, 13 June 1904, in Berlin.10 Died 25 Nov. 1949 in Salt Lake City.11
