Sarah Elizabeth Taylor
Born 11 Sept. 1853 in Salt Lake City.[1] Daughter of Thomas Taylor and Elizabeth Romney.[2] Baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4 Aug. 1864.[3] Married John Christopher Cutler, 3 Apr. 1871, in Salt Lake City; seven children.[4] Husband elected as the second governor of the state of Utah; Sarah became Utah’s First Lady, 1905.[5] Attended Mrs. A. W. Carlson’s garden party with EBW, 23 June 1908.[6] Often spent winters with her children in Southern California.[7] Died 20 Nov. 1928 while visiting her daughter in Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., California.[8]
