Mary Alice Hoagland Cannon

Mamie Cannon

16 October 18671 March 1909

Born 16 October 1867 in Salt Lake City.[1] Daughter of George Q. Cannon and Elizabeth Hoagland.[2] Lived in Washington, DC, with her family while her father was Utah Territory’s delegate to the United States Congress, 1873–1881.[3] Baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 16 October 1875.[4] Served as second counselor in the presidency of the Farmers Ward Primary, 1882–1884.[5] Married Lewis Mousley Cannon, 1 October 1890, in Logan, Cache County, Utah Territory; seven children.[6] Attended the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago, September 1893.[7] Treasurer of the Wasatch Society of the State of Utah, Daughters of the Revolution, 16 November 1898.[8] Died 1 March 1909 in Salt Lake City.[9]
