Margaret Blaine Walker
Born 14 Apr. 1858 in Washington DC.[1] Daughter of Robert Craighead Walker and Eliza Gillespie Blaine.[2] Married Orange J. Salisbury, 23 July 1879, in Pittsburgh; four children.[3] Confidant and dear friend of EBW.[4] Served as the eighth vice president of the Board of Lady Managers for the World’s Columbian Exposition for the World’s Fair of 1893.[5] Elected as the first state regent for the Utah State Society Daughters of the American Revolution, 1897.[6] Died 10 Dec. 1921 in Santa Clara, Santa Clara Co., California; buried in Salt Lake City.[7]
