Lucy Stacy
Born ca. 4 Mar. 1796 in New Salem, Franklin Co., Massachusetts.[1] Daughter of Nymphas Stacy and Sarah Gibbs.[2] Married first Elias Harris, 24 Jan. 1819, in New Salem; four children.[3] Mother of EBW’s first husband, James Harvey Harris.[4] Baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dec. 1833, in Wendell, Franklin Co., Massachusetts.[5] Migrated from Wendell, 24 Apr. 1844, arriving in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, by mid-May 1844.[6] Left Nauvoo, 1842; moved to La Harpe, Hancock Co., by 1844.[7] Moved to Harlem, Winnebago Co., Illinois, by 1850.[8] Moved to Roscoe, Winnebago Co., by 1860.[9] Husband died, 1869; married second Jesse Noble Blackinton, after 1869.[10] Returned to New Salem, by 1880.[11] Died 25 May 1889 in New Salem.[12]
