Julina Lambson
Born 18 June 1849 at Salt Lake City.[1] Daughter of Alfred B. Lambson and Melissa J. Bigler.[2] Married Joseph F. Smith, 5 May 1866, at Salt Lake City; thirteen children.[3] President of the Salt Lake City Sixteenth Ward Young Ladies’ Mutual Improvement Association, 1870–1874.[4] Studied obstetrics, 1872–1874, and began practicing midwifery, 1875.[5] Served in the Endowment House, 1873–1884, and in the Salt Lake temple, 1893–1925.[6] Served a mission with her husband in the Sandwich Islands, 1885–1887.[7] Served on the Relief Society general board, 1892–1921.[8] Charter member of the Daughter of Utah Pioneers, 1901–1925. [9] Served as second counselor to EBW in the Relief Society general presidency, 1910–1921.[10] Chair of the Temple and Burial Clothing Department, 1912–1921.[11] Employed by the Utah Genealogical Society, 1924–1928.[12] Died 10 Jan. 1936 at Salt Lake City.[13]
