George Mousley Cannon

25 December 1861–23 January 1937

Born 25 Dec. 1861 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah Territory.[1] Son of Angus Munn Cannon and Sarah Maria Mousley.[2] Married Marian Adelaide Morris, 25 Dec. 1884, in Salt Lake City.[3] Prominent real estate broker in Salt Lake City.[4] Served as Salt Lake Co. recorder, 1888.[5] Elected to the Utah Senate, 1896.[6] Encouraged EBW to become involved in local politics, 1896–1898.[7] Founding member and treasurer of the Society for the Aid of the Sightless, 1904.[8] Died 23 Jan. 1937 in Salt Lake City.[9]
