Eliza Lamercia Tenney

9 February 1845–17 April 1908

Born 9 Feb. 1845 at Quincy, Adams Co., Illinois.[1] Daughter of William Tenney and Eliza Webb.[2] Father died before she was born, 5 Oct. 1844.[3] Baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Apr. 1860.[4] Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley with her mother, brother, and sister in the Warren Walling pioneer company, 1860.[5] Lived in Payson, Utah Co., Utah Territory, 1860–1865.[6] Married George Q. Cannon as a plural wife, 29 July 1865, in Salt Lake City; three sons.[7] Attended social events that EBW also attended, 1892, 1902, 1903, 1904.[8] EBW noted the death of her sister, Betsy Jane Tenney Loose Simons, 15 Jan. 1904.[9] Died 17 Apr. 1908 at Salt Lake City.[10]
