Born 26 February 1877 at Salt Lake City.[1] Daughter of Orson Spencer Clawson and Nabbie Howe Young.[2] Baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5 October 1886.[3] Lived in the Salt Lake City Eighteenth Ward.[4] Member of the Ensign Wheel Club, May 1895.[5] Appointed to the reception committee of the Pioneer Jubilee, June 1897.[6] Charter member of the Wasatch Chapter of the Daughters of the Revolution with Emmeline B. Wells, 1898.[7] Served on the “Old-Time Dressing Committee” for the Brigham Young birthday celebration, 1 June 1899.[8] Married Chauncy Mott Benedict, 29 October 1901, in Salt Lake City.[9] Died unexpectedly after the birth of her son, 28 February 1903, in Salt Lake City.[10]
