Charles Henry Wells

28 August 1870–31 December 1944

Born 28 Aug. 1870 at Salt Lake City.[1] Son of Daniel Hamner Wells and Susan Hannah Alley.[2] Graduated from the University of Utah, 1889.[3] Worked in the banking industry, 1890–1914.[4] Married Susie Denton Riter, 15 May 1895.[5] EBW sought his advice on financial affairs, 1899.[6] Resigned from his banking position, 31 Oct. 1914.[7] Appointed secretary treasurer for P. J. Moran Co., 1916–1918.[8] Appointed secretary treasurer for Moran Paving Co., 1919.[9] Worked as a computer/accountant for the City Engineer Department, 1927–1944.[10] Died 31 Dec. 1944 in Salt Lake City.[11]
